First post!

I have no idea why I'm committing myself to a blog.  With work overflowing on me and school stressing me I must have a death wish.

Anyhow, I think I'm going to go buy a portrait lens today.  The Nikon 50mm / 1.8 D is on sale at Best Buy for $199.99.  With my reward certificates it's going to cost me $175.00, sweet.

With that lens I'll have 4 lenses to work with, the 35mm, 18mm-55mm, 55mm-200mm and the 50mm of course.  Now I can save up for the 17mm- 200mm / 2.8 D to get rid of the 18 and 55, it's much faster too since those two only go to 5.6.
